Excellent documentary. Heartbreaking evidence. The media and the powerful people who direct it are truly responsible for the direction of the war carnage. I lived through WWII and remember the constant barrage of media propaganda promoting that war. And then the contrast with the war in Vietnam, the war that wasn’t. Ten years and we hardly knew we were at war.
Question: Can’t seem to watch this video anymore. Its been pulled. Thing is, it appears to be yanked everywhere. I’ve even checked the link to the full documentary at Pilger’s own site, but that link says its not available in my region – and that was at $4.99 to view. I had my card ready, so no one wants my money I guess. I’m in the USA and these (many at least) journalists are American. Its the American media in question of course. The only place I can find a copy is at Amazon. Hefty price tag, but its only formatted for the UK. I must confess ignorance. I didn’t realize DVDs weren’t the same everywhere. So, I’d even spend more money to watch The War You Don’t See. But I feel some larger force is trying to prevent it at any cost.
The link to buy it, from Pilger’s site has been down since I started snooping around, too. No luck.
Is this censorship? I can’t find any word of it. I watched it here a week ago and now nada.
