The other thing we need to realize is that all of the draconian laws are really just a symptom of a larger problem that parents do not have the willpower and/or the desire to train their kids in basic respect. Even in this video, it is said that in the old days, a principal would call the parents and inform them if the student was doing something violent or disruptive, but that’s not gonna happen nowadays because too many parents just don’t care. Parents will tell the teachers that they(the parents) don’t know what to do with the kids and expect the teacher to figure it out alone.
So teachers and administrators feel that they cannot guarantee the safety of the kids and please the concerned parents, so they call in the cops to do what they cannot do. I don’t mean to minimize the facts in this video but there is a much larger problem, that parents and kids who don’t value education are forced to be in the same rooms and schools as kids whose parents do care. Schools need to have the right to boot kids that don’t pull their own weight, otherwise we are going to have a police state.

Wow, hence We homeschool. My two boys would never make it in shool. They rarely sit still, complete monotonous worksheets, or speak when it is appropriate. They do however, invent, play, create, dream and love learning. Both enjoy reading, writing, math and science at levels far beyond their school counterparts. And we do it all with friends and families of all ages, races, religions, opinions and ideas.
This has nothing to do with making children safe. It’s about conditioning children to accept the police state.
