Pat, I love you and appreciate all that you do for the cause of American liberty.
My one caveat, and it is a huge one, is your constant reference to religion, organized religion, faith without facts, obedience to an invisible and unknown fiction.
I live my life in a way that attempts to help those in need, as much as possible, and I really don’t need some shaman (Pope) who does not know one iota about a god, or an afterlife than anyone else ever has, dictating to me, setting themselves as an intermediary to a deity that no one really knows even exists.
And further, the damned Catholic religion is rife with child molesters by the thousands, and a recent Pope that did everything in his power to protect them. He knew the depth of their depravity, as before he was Pope he was responsible for every complaint, every lawsuit for these evil deeds, and he staunchly fulfilled the protection of these beasts and the church which has preyed upon children for centuries.

Sorry, but the almost-imposed humanism of the church(es) established in the middle ages which was the entire basis of modern western civilization hasn’t really existed in the americas or the UK in any form since the advent of industrialization.
The development of mercantilism, followed by what we now call “capitalism” (even though capital is now turned purely into wealth, rather than capital investment) was pretty much the nail in the coffin that buried it.
We’re left with two easy solutions: Slaves to the owners, or a faceless socialism. There is no leader with the “stuff” to preserve liberty, or any of the gifts of the greeks, such as true democracy.
