Weapons would be purchased by the Israeli front companies and then sold to the belligerents (mostly Iran) for vastly inflated sums. Transshipped through various countries to bypass embargo restrictions, including all the way down south in Perth Western Australia via the RAAF base at Pearce and storage areas in the port of Fremantle via business interests of Alan Bond. The budget for arms purchases was increased as the war progressed and gave a return of almost 150% to the Israeli economy. The author of a book exposing this, is now living in Sydney Australia in exile and has been granted asylum after repeated efforts by Israel to harm him or extradite him.
