  • Another Peter – philosopher Peter Wilberg – anticipated and has clearly argued and articulated Peter Rusell’s arguments for the primacy consciousness for many years through his books and essays on ‘The Awareness Principle’ – see http://www.theawarenessprinciple.com

Put quite simply this principle is that AWARENESS cannot – IN PRINCIPLE – reduced to or explained as the property or product of any thing or we are aware OF – whether a body, brain, being, ‘self’ or ‘mind’ any sort. On the contrary, awareness alone is the sole reality and all things are an individualised portion embodiment, personification of a singular universal awareness field. The conceptual rigour of Peter Wilberg for the primacy of consciousness – not consciousness ‘of’ this or that but consciousness as such – awareness remains unsurpassed.

“Awareness is everything. Everything is an awareness.”
