Enrico Dini is on a quest to revolutionize the way we view construction. But with his family life in tatters, and his business on its knees – has he sacrificed too much for the greater good? The Man Who Prints Houses is a poignant, funny and awe-inspiring documentary that delves into the troubled mind of a genius intent on changing the world forever.

Enrico Dini is a robotics expert. He is also a self-styled ‘stone alchemist’: able to mimic the process of how rock forms under the seabed. Combining these two skills, he has developed a groundbreaking new construction technique based on the principle of 3D-printing. Enrico’s dream is to one day see houses of any shape and size printed robotically in solid stone – but as we all know, dreams can come at a price…

3D-printing is a method that physically realizes digital designs layer by layer using a fluid substance that can be hardened by lasers or other binding agents. To date, it’s been used for small-scale manufacturing and as architectural maquettes. Enrico, however, has far grander plans.

With exclusive access into all aspects of his life, this film follows Enrico as he strives to make his dream of large-scale 3D-printing a reality. From his ambitious business ideas, to financial problems and struggles in his family life, the film tells the story of a visionary inventor shackled by his life’s work.  More at www.themanwhoprintshouses.com

This is a film based on the book “Death of the Liberal Class” by journalist and Pulitzer prize winner, Chris Hedges.

It charts the rise of the Corporate State, and examines the future of obedience in a world of unfettered capitalism, globalisation, staggering inequality and environmental change.

The film predominantly focuses on US corporate capitalism, but it is my hope that the viewer can recognise the relevance of what is being expressed with regards to domestic political and corporate activity.

It was made completely of clips found on the web.

WHY WHY WHY ? What were you thnking? WHY all the NEGATIVE imaging and SPLIT SCREENS???Absolutely pointless effects. And ENOUGH with the GLOBAL WARMING PROPAGANDA. I can say the rest of the message was pretty bang on though. 2.5 Stars for the message.

I find it compelling watching. It is the truth and if this do not awaken us, what else?

  • I am so with you Mike on the needless and annoying effects. I’m a few minutes in and if it keeps up I’m going to stop. The music is a bit over intense too.
    Sigh, I love documentaries.

I gather in the end, what this video is saying is bend over and try to enjoy the ass slamming you have in store for you. I too found the effects annoying and unnecessary.
