This is a film based on the book “Death of the Liberal Class” by journalist and Pulitzer prize winner, Chris Hedges.

It charts the rise of the Corporate State, and examines the future of obedience in a world of unfettered capitalism, globalisation, staggering inequality and environmental change.

The film predominantly focuses on US corporate capitalism, but it is my hope that the viewer can recognise the relevance of what is being expressed with regards to domestic political and corporate activity.

It was made completely of clips found on the web.

WHY WHY WHY ? What were you thnking? WHY all the NEGATIVE imaging and SPLIT SCREENS???Absolutely pointless effects. And ENOUGH with the GLOBAL WARMING PROPAGANDA. I can say the rest of the message was pretty bang on though. 2.5 Stars for the message.

I find it compelling watching. It is the truth and if this do not awaken us, what else?

  • I am so with you Mike on the needless and annoying effects. I’m a few minutes in and if it keeps up I’m going to stop. The music is a bit over intense too.
    Sigh, I love documentaries.

I gather in the end, what this video is saying is bend over and try to enjoy the ass slamming you have in store for you. I too found the effects annoying and unnecessary.
