Bill Hicks, standup comedian, musician, and social critic, died February 26, 1994 at age 32.  He spent his time telling it like it is; exposing the corporate mainstream media and corrupt politicians, and spreading consciousness.  This interview on Public Access TV in Austin on CapZeyez, was Bill’s final interview before his death.  In it, Bill shows footage of the Bradley tank the government used to smash into the Branch Davidians’ compound in Waco, Texas.  Bill had this to say on the incident (go to 56 minutes):

“The implications of this, just ponder that, that every MSM news source told us that they launched tear gas in order to convince the moms and the kids to get out.  This meanwhile, as you can see, they’re destroying the compound which the kids were inside of – how they knew that they weren’t going to run a kid over, I don’t know.  Just think of what that implies, that no one has picked up on this news story except public access, A.  And B that the ATF and the FBI are liars and murderers and if they had any honor, if they were truly human beings, they would commit suicide, and explain their role in this murder and mass murder of innocent women and children.  Why’s it’s not news worthy, you tell me, you call me and tell me why it’s not on the news.”

This is a film based on the book “Death of the Liberal Class” by journalist and Pulitzer prize winner, Chris Hedges.

It charts the rise of the Corporate State, and examines the future of obedience in a world of unfettered capitalism, globalisation, staggering inequality and environmental change.

The film predominantly focuses on US corporate capitalism, but it is my hope that the viewer can recognise the relevance of what is being expressed with regards to domestic political and corporate activity.

It was made completely of clips found on the web.

WHY WHY WHY ? What were you thnking? WHY all the NEGATIVE imaging and SPLIT SCREENS???Absolutely pointless effects. And ENOUGH with the GLOBAL WARMING PROPAGANDA. I can say the rest of the message was pretty bang on though. 2.5 Stars for the message.

I find it compelling watching. It is the truth and if this do not awaken us, what else?

  • I am so with you Mike on the needless and annoying effects. I’m a few minutes in and if it keeps up I’m going to stop. The music is a bit over intense too.
    Sigh, I love documentaries.

I gather in the end, what this video is saying is bend over and try to enjoy the ass slamming you have in store for you. I too found the effects annoying and unnecessary.
