Horrific what my son went threw this summer! The “professionals” cranked up and cut off medicine at unsafe intervals. Made my son crazy with a cocktail of anti psychotic medications and had the nerve to tell me when I begged and begged them to stop that I didn’t know my son. It is amazing he didn’t die in their care. Thank God for emails and recordings of my son before and after medications! Proof of him before and after! Lies told by the nurses and doctors were also captured on audio recording. To anyone who has to take on the mental health “professionals”, document, use audio recorders because if you check the mental health care laws, those who are deemed “Mental” have less rights than a criminal and are so drugged up they can’t defend themselves. Be very careful what you say to them, they can turn a bad situation into a living nightmare. Thank you for this documentary and you did a fantastic job.
I feel your pain. My child was stolen by the actions of my ex-wife at 14, claiming she needed mental health services. She has been i several youth mental hospitals and on various drugs. She now lives in a world completely disassociated from reality. She is 16 now, and un-supervised, and near insane. I can’t do a thing about it, but mourn the loss of my daughter and show up for every court date that is always put off. I blame the whole Juvenile Court system and the despicable persons of DHS. At least, you still have your son. Thank God.
